Why does it add tax?

  • Hello. Something very strange happens. In this product, for example Silla eléctrica Emblema – Ortopedia Hispalis, you can see that you can choose the tax (4% or 10%). The price of the product is included without tax and when you choose a tax the price changes. What happens is that I want the price of the accessories TAX INCLUDED, and yet the tax is added to my cart.

    I have tried deactivating all the plugins, trying another theme, etc… everything is updated. It can be done? Please thank you very much.

    Hi there,

    your scenario is very specific, it’s not default behavior for a product with tax.

    Tax should be configured at global level and then WooCommerce applies the right tax according the Billing country. Instead you set the VAT percentage as variation.

    The price of addons are tax included/excluded depending by how you have set the taxes in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Tax.
