Why does image uploader suck so bad?

  • The uploader has been broken forever. They even tell you to try browser uploader if flash uploader doesn’t work. That’s not a lot of confidence in your code is it?

    More often than not, browser uploader hangs while uploading an image. Sometimes it works. Flash uploader never works. After uploading, I get a user login frame within the image gallery popup.

    Why does the version drop down box in support only go to 2.6? How long has 2.7 been out?
