this sucks, i try to be neat and tidy when I use scripts like WordPress as I hack them up so i can easily undo and add stuff, same with HTML code on static pages i make. then i come back the next day to edit the file and it’s all a mess, i haven’t touched a thing, and now it’s all pushed together and very hard to follow and edit. I’ve never understood why this happens. I use
Notepad and CuteFTP and FTPCommander – Unix server. Help!
    thanks

Where do you see the code all messed up? In notepad?
Try using wordpad to edit the files, or better still search for and use crimson editor.
Crimson editor preserves line breaks, respects structure and even has ftp built in ??

yeah, dump Notepad and get something that loads fast and has nice enough features like EditPad freeware.
