Why doeasn't a "post comment" button appear?

  • Hi,
    I’m fairly new to WordPress, and CMS in general. I have set up a WordPress blog on my website. I’ve tried a couple of different themes, and in both cases, I was expecting a “post comment” or “post a response” button to appear below my blog essay – but there is nothing there, according to my readers. Why is this? What am I missing? In setup, I have checked “Allow people to post comments on new articles”.

    I have tried these themes:
    Pilcrow and TSWWide
