• Self-explanatory. I can’t even change my field label’s font-size because um-styles.css has stated it has importance. WTF? Amazing plugin, but wtf?

I’ve spent far too much time trying to dequeue your damn stylesheets to no avail. What can I do here, I don’t want my styles dictated ??

    Hi @johnnytuff2673,

This is due to styles priority, where are you trying to add your custom styles? Have you tried to add !important attribute to your styles?

    Regards.

Disastrous version 2 launch aside, this is the single most frustrating issue with Ultimate Member. I get the desire for the plugin to work with all themes, but there has surely got to be a better way to handle this to aid developers that actually want to add their own styles? Perhaps a setting for strict styling? Ticked Yes, it loads a CSS file with important attributes, unticked, it loads a different CSS file, 99% identical but no !important tags?

I worked around this by using !important tags in my own theme CSS and then loading this as late as possible after Ultimate Member by changing the priority of the call. A process made even harder by the fact Ultimate Member loads almost 50 individual CSS/JS unminified files on every page – including pages that don’t have any UM functionality!

I’m trying to add my custom CSS to my child theme’s stylesheet. I’ve tried !important but as the previous user mentioned, I have to organize load order… this is not sustainable.
