I’m currently deactivated NextGEN plugin, because this destroyed page working, i.e., page loading after plugin update was 15 seconds… Please, restore previous version of plugin, becausa last 2 years it worging great

I’m very sorry to hear about our recent update not working out for you, @uldis23. We would love to help you. Sometimes when WordPress, or other plugins are not also updated it can conflict with our plugin not working as intended. Also, outdated server settings could also potentially cause issues. Could you confirm for us that all plugins, and WordPress are up to date? Also, please provide the server settings listed under NextGEN > Overview.

One more thing to try. After everything is up to date, and if the issue persists, try deactivating all plugins and then reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does that help clear out the issue you were seeing? If so, it’s likely a conflict with another plugin causing the issue. Reactivate each of the other plugins one at a time to locate the conflicting plugin.

    Thank you ??

2 years and before the update, everything worked perfectly. I have more than 2000 galleries and now I have to look for a new plugin to reload all the pictures. It will take 6 months … Please help me restore the previous version of the plugin

    Hi @uldis23,

I see that currently the page loads just fine with the gallery on it so not sure if you are still encountering any issues with NextGen Gallery. Can you please update us on the status of your report?

Also, I hope that you wouldn’t mind letting us know from what NextGen Gallery version have you updated to NextGen Gallery 3.1.11

    Thanks
    Mihai

    Hi @uldis23,

We are really sorry for the delayed reply in the forum. We have been able to replicate the reported problem with the Shutter Reloaded navigation icons and submitted an issue report for our developers. This is a legit bug report and we do apologize for the inconveniences.

In the meantime, can I please ask you to switch to a different lightbox effect like Fancybox from “Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What effect would you like to use?” to see if this will solve the loading speed problem? I think that the loading speed problem is being caused by the scripts that are failing to load the navigation icons for the "Shutter Reloaded".

    Please let us know,
    Mihai

@mihaiimagely Thank you very much! So far it looks like it really helps! I will experiment with several Lightbox because each responds differently

@uldis23 – Can you confirm… Is your issue solved now by changing lightboxes? If not, can you clarify what if any issue you’re still having?

@edanzer I pressed the resolved button, because I’m sure NextGEN has fixed the problem and in the near future it will be updated by Lightbox. I will now try Shutter because the problem was not only with Shutter Reloaded, but also with Thickbox tools exhibited outside the Lightbox frame
