Is it possible to omit the default end of post “like” and place the “like” within the post in a more appropriate location ?

As you can see, the default is in an awkward location, but the embedded “like” is great !

OK, I now see that this pluging simply puts the “like” thumb in every post even without adding the shortcode to the post. That’s how I got 2. One appropriately placed, the other in the default place. sigh…

Is there a way to place the shortcode and “like thumb” where it’s desired on the page ? My posts are formatted and the thumb looks odd stuck all the way to the left margin. Ideally I can place the “like” as desired, and omit the default “after post” one.

Maybe you need to do this:

Settings -> Post Like Dislike -> Basic Settings -> Uncheck the “Posts”

“Please uncheck all of these if you are wiling to generate the like dislike icon through custom function.”

Thanks very much, that was “just the ticket” clearer. Looks much better now …

That is obvious if one actually, um, reads the doc, isn’t it. sigh…
