Why do I need to redirect?

I’ve added a coming soon page with feedburner email subscription to my site (https://www.thepluglive.com). I’ve added 2 subscribers but I don’t see that they show up in my subscriber count on Feedburner. Is it because I need to install this plugin? I’m still a little fuzzy about this feedburner stuff.
