Why de-registered default scripts?

  • I see this plugin has discontinued it’s development. Still – I’m not sure why the author has de-registered the core jQuery that WordPress provides?

    IMO as WP plugin developer myself, one should not de-registered default scripts that WP provides by default as other developers might be relying on them to make their code work.
