• Hi,

Just saw the message: “This plugin was closed on July 8, 2019 and is no longer available for download”

Is there a security problem we need to know about? Of did you quit working on the project?

  • Same question from me. All my pictures are shown via GrandWP Gallery. I just wanted to buy the Pro Version tomorrow. My security plugin said: “The Plugin “GrandWP Gallery” has been removed from www.remarpro.com”. Critical issues Found.

Wordfence has marked the issue as critical because the plugin is no longer in the repository. No security breaches have been reported that I’m aware of.

The question is why was it removed?

I see that the forumstatus of GrandWP is blocked, so I guess he can’t answer!

It would be nice if someone would keep users updated about this situation. I have gotten an email from GrandWP customer support confirming that no security risk has been detected, and that they are working with wordpress to resolve the issue.
It is still unknown however why wp removed it though, which makes me feel uneasy about keeping the plugin installed on my websites. They really should update us about what’s going on. Also, should we manually update the plugin by downloading it from their website in the meantime?

Yeah, same – not cool to keep their customers in the dark like this. I have yet to receive a reply on my support request, and my boss is fidgeting something fierce – just about ready to abort and look for a different plugin.

The weird thing is that their own website is offline and the plugins are still blocked. I think the project is dead.

Their website is quite online – though they haven’t updated it since July, it seems.

Due to faults and service issues they can’t resolve – They grabbed the money and ran.
