Why can’t we assign lessons to multiple courses

  • I know this isn’t possible right now, but my question is why?

    I can think of at least one way to make this happen in php without too much hassle.

    Currently, our system operates with a one-to-one relationship where each lesson is assigned to a single course. Changing this logic to allow a one-to-many relationship (where one lesson can be assigned to multiple courses) would significantly increase the complexity of our LearnPress plugin.

    Implementing such a change would lead to a larger and more complex plugin, which in turn could introduce potential bugs and performance issues. We aim to maintain a balance between functionality and stability, and this one-to-one relationship helps us achieve that.

    While we understand the potential benefits of a one-to-many relationship, our primary goal is to ensure that LearnPress remains reliable and efficient for all users.
