• Hello everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me!

I seem to be in a bit of a pickle with my website. As I am not IT whizz kid specialist (bet you read that aaaaaall the time huh?)
anyway I added a plug in some time ago to stop spam… but now when your on my website no one can comment on my blog posts. There are the boxes to fill out your info and comments but then there is no “LEAVE COMMENT” button…where is it???

    Here is my website: https://www.corsets-in-berlin.com

Also why does it say ADMIN at the bottom of the page? This is where I sign into my account but a friend said that it doesn’t need to be there… so how do I get rid of it and where to I go to sign in then?

I would be very grateful of any help!

    Gem xoxo

  • The url to login is:

    https://www.corsets-in-berlin.com/wp-login.php

One could add the Meta widget to a sidebar or other theme widget area to have the login/logout visible.

    The comment settings are at:

    Admin Dashboard>Settings>Discussion (review them all)

The admin is your default main site admin name that is displayed there as you are the post author. To edit that name go to:

Admin Dashboard>Users>click on admin>edit name to be displayed.

Removing the post or page author link completely will require some knowledge of WordPress and PHP. It can be hidden in CSS, but anyone wanting to abuse the author link will know to look at the source code anyway.

    the ‘submit comments’ is working in the theme demo;

    – you possibly have destroyed something while editing one of the templates (?): – try to switch to the unedited theme and see if that helps.

    – or this is caused by some unwanted interaction with a plugin: –

I added a plug in some time ago to stop spam

try deactivating this plugin (or all plugins) to see if that fixes the problem; if yes, reactivate one plugin after the other to find the problematic one. then search for a different plugin …

if these general troubleshooting does not help, contact the seller of your theme theme for support –

this forum does not support commercial themes apart from general trouble shooting.
