Why can’t I get the API data?

Thanks for getting back to us.

I understand when you try to get send a request WooCommerce REST API endpoint, it displays the following message:

The above response shows that you request data from the endpoint without authentication.

I can see you are sending a request on the following URL, where you are sending consumer_key and consumer_secret in the URL or as a GET request:

https://mydomain.com/wp-json/v3/product/?consumer_key=123&consumer_secret=123

WooCommerce REST API authorization needs to be done by the “Basic access authentication” method, when doing over HTTPS.

It looks like your API call URL is missing /wc/ in the path.

The correct URL should be: https://yourdomain.com/wp-json/wc/v3/products?consumer_key=xxxx&consumer_secret=xxxx
