Why Can't I get Email Notifications Even After Doing Everything Right?

Hello,
I followed your directives where you advised another troubled user to install WP Mail SMTP in order to receive email notifications after files are uploaded onto my website. Nontheless, I still do not receive email notifications from my specified email address.
Let me hasten to say that, my wordpress has no issues with receiving or sending emails. Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help!
