I am a neophyte so explain any answers as non tech as you can; however, this is my issue: No matter what I am am trying, including adding the Better Font Awesome, the aria code is being removed. For example, <i class=”fa fa-download” aria-hidden=”true”></i> becomes <i class=”fa fa-download”></i>.

[Moderator note: code fixed. Please wrap code in the backtick character or use the code button.]

I tried a plugin for TinyMCE and this one, and I still cannot locate the issue. This is frustrating, so I really hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    Thank you.

I believe aria attributes are stripped by default via the wp_kses_post filter. This shouldn’t have anything to do with this plugin one day or another.
