    What was the reasoning behind allowing tables to be left in database upon uninstall?

    This is not at all a negative comment, just for my own curiosity.

    I’m still tinkering with MC and Tickets, but so far I’m liking what I see.

    Thanks for your efforts, and especially for the work you do for the disabled.

    Well, the statement for that on the Help screen is that I don’t want to wipe out your data on an uninstall.

    I know from long experience that a lot of people, when having trouble with a plug-in, will do a uninstall/reinstall. If I dropped the custom tables when they did that, a minor plug-in problem could turn into a major disaster when a site loses a ton of data and doesn’t have a good backup. They’ll lose their settings; but settings are much less trouble to restore than years of event entry!

    I may at some point add an option so that people can choose to delete the tables on uninstall, but it’ll never be the default.
