Why are post planned instead of simply published?

    why are new post read from source RSS being planned to publish instead of published ?

    is it possible a timezone issue if source timezone is different from timezone of target WP ?

    I think no, because in a situation we have about 20 posts, each planned with a delay of 1-5 minutes between each other , up to 3 hours in the future. So I think to exclude a timezone problem
