• It’s really annoying that my wp sometimes “automatically” switch to a default theme. I did nothing to the server and it just happened.

Some months ago I found that it’s possibly due to the missing of a file (of the customized theme) but this time, no action was being done to my server. Before I went to bed yesterday everything went well but this morning one of my reader told me it’s a messy. Then I found the theme has been switched.

Anyone can give me some tips, thanks in advance.

  • I’m having the same problem as well on a few of my blogs. I have created custom themes, and I’m the only administrator. One day my custom theme will be displaying, the next it’s the default Kubrick theme.

    Any ideas?

awflasher, where did you get your theme from?

    1. Upgrade – you have a vulnerable version.
    2. It has been reported, and several reasons have been found as cause: like faulty plugins. (If curious, search the forums)
    3. Not a solution but a workaround: remove the default (Kubrick) and name your theme “default”.
