I’d really like to know the reasoning behind this move. Making the user set up the plugin again, changing the free features to premium… Worth noting that most of the users that are complaining about the update have the plugin installed in many sites, some of us in 100+ sites…

The hassle that takes us to re-setup the plugin is the same that takes us to move to a plugin that has the same features for free, why do the developers think that we would stay using their plugin after changing to a premium model?

Unless there is a good reasoning behind this decission that I fail to grasp, this will become a case study in schools on how not to do things.

Update: I just realized that they add a notice to the admin panel that would translate something like “More than 2 million website owners use ExactMetrics”. How would they not, if it was pushed up their throats without notice? They are counting me as one of those 2M, or maybe one time per website I manage, even when I didn’t install the plugin!
