• Deactivating the plugin, is impossible without pressing “Submit & Deactivate’. Whether I enter content or not, this plugin forces users to press a Submit button outside of core functionality of WordPress.

The dismiss link will cancel the action and leave the plugin still activated.

    Hi Justin,

The comment is optional only. Clicking on “Submit & Deactivate” just deactivates it, you don’t have to leave a comment.

Do you really want to give a 2 star review because of that?

I am a strong believer in plugins that do not block core functionality when a user wants to add or remove anything. The plugin was ok but this is a show stopper.

How do I know that it is optional? How do I know you are not collecting information even I put nothing in the text box? Where is it optional to deactivate the plugin without pressing a button labeled “Submit”?

I removed the plugin via FTP instead.

The text starts with “Optional:”, but we’ll rename the button to just “Deactivate”, maybe that causes less confusion.

I suggest you remove that hook period but that is just me. I recommend that if you do not remove that feature, that you add another button that allows the user to pass though with out having to see the popup. Maybe a deactivate without feedback?

I get user functionality and feedback is great but there has to be a line on how intrusive a plugin can be or should be.

FYI: Please keep in mind that this review is solely on my use of it on a development project and not directly related to being a moderator.
