why 3 libraries for image cropping?

WordPress doesn’t include libraries for image cropping, it has support for three different image cropping systems.

WordPress is used in a variety of server environments. Different servers have different libraries installed with PHP to handle images. So if your server has the ImageMagick library available, WordPress will use it. If that’s not there, maybe the GD library is. And so forth. It only ever uses one library, but it supports more than one.

What I meant to say is, I posted one topic in one forum the night before this drama…and for whatever reason, come 9am’ish (wordpress time) that post was removed from the forum I had posted too (perhaps it was ‘off topic’). Therefore good sir, I wasn’t sure what to do other than rephrase the content and post two new ones in separate forums. You and Jan both replied within a couple hours. The weird thing tho, was that you both replied to the post I had made the night before…which I had been told was removed from the targeted forum. I’m not sure how you guys delegate work…I’m sure it’s pretty crazy..I just wanted to follow the rules as best I could. Unfortunately, we both read like curmudgeons now. ??
