WHY 3.0 update has removed “toggle Development Mode On/Off” ??

    Hi,
    “toggle Development Mode On/Off” is one of the most useful and most used functions in this plugin, so why have you decided to removed it?

    I will stay at plugin version 1.3.24 and not update your plugin anymore, until this toggle will be restored. And I think that a lot of other people will do the same…

    Please restore it back, thank you.

  • So the work around has now been removed from the latest update… any particular reason why? Why was it removed in the first place? Did you make a global in config.php? Why do I need to ask so many questions?

    I thought I had that same issue, but the config.js file was (ironically enough) cached, so I had to enable debug mode to make it work. I’d sign into Cloudflare in a different window to enable debug mode and see if that kicks it.

    Thanks GreatBlakes, I didn’t think that it would be cached… though I was too annoyed to try to find a work around. I ironically turned of Dev mode on the site and then changed the file. I really hope they just add it again this is just silly

    You’re saying having the toggle in the plugin screen the way it always was is not secure anymore?
