• Sometimes I see at -2 at the end of my page names (permalink). As an example I just made a page called /work-life-balance and when wordpress saves the page it is named /work-life-balance-2

I don’t have any other pages named /work-life-balance so I don’t quite understand what is going on.

Is there a way to see if the database contains such a page that can be deleted, or is there another way to deal with the issue.

That happens when WordPress sees another page or post with the same slug. Try visiting your post editor screen and look in the Trash section. If there’s a post there that you don’t want (in the trash) then empty that out and re-try your permalink slug again.

Thanks – it worked with one of my pages, but not with this one: https://securepartner.dk/laasesmed-dognvagt-2/
There is no file in the trash. Any other suggestions
