Who've downloaded my plugin ?

  • How do I know who have downloaded the plugin I wrote? Can I find out how many of them have uninstalled it, deactivate it etc ? WP stats only provide download numbers and nothing more.

    I know all this may be done via register_activation_hook and register_deactivation_hook, but that is like privacy breach. Isn’t there a cleaner way to get such information ?

    But you don’t need to log in to download your plugin so how will you ever find out the who information?
