I was trying to reduce my site load time and ran an app recommended by google (performance Lab by WordPress) and ran an experimental MySQL thing, now my website is down, and I cannot log in with either the email or the regular log in. Please help!

    Here is the error message:
The username xxxxxxxx is not registered on this site. If you are unsure of your username, try your email address instead.

And then I try the email and it tells me this:
Unknown email address. Check again or try your username.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
It seems I can log into wordpress.com but not www.remarpro.com, I had to create a new account and everything just to post this.

When I try to go into the wordpress.com login, it doesn’t show any of the previous settings (in the settings tab) of Performancelab, so I cant turn it off.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out @nikob123. It sounds like the error you’re facing is due to the database, which stores your user details, was switched to a new SQLite database.

In order to revert back to your original database, can you try to rename or delete the Performance Lab plugin directory if you’re unable to access the site? You’ll find this at wp-content/plugins/performance-lab

Let me know how you get on with the above, or ask if you have any questions.

    Hi @nikob123,

Are you a WordPress.com user as opposed to www.remarpro.com? If so, please allow me some time to check this.

What you can do in the meantime, is ask the WordPress.com support team to deactivate the the Performance Lab plugin for you.

I’m a www.remarpro.com user, after installing the Sqllite thing, i clicked on all the buttons available on the performance tab of settings, and then shortly after was logged out of my account. I cannot log into my previous account using either my email or username, but found that the wordpress.com site loaded

Thanks for the update @nikob123. If you’re a www.remarpro.com user you’ll be able to access the Performance Lab directory (wp-content/plugins/performance-lab) using your hosting providers control panel or using FTP. You’ll need to do so in order to remove or rename the plugin directory, which will revert to your original database with your user login details.

If you reach out to your hosting provider they may be able to assist you with this.

I cannot log into my previous account using either my email or username, but found that the wordpress.com site loaded

Let’s work on the issue you’re having with the www.remarpro.com site, by ensuring you are able to access your site once more after removing or renaming the Performance Lab plugin directory.

Let me know if you need any further assistance on locating the Performance Lab plugin directory.

Awesome!!! that was it right there,

For any who might come here having the same question:
1.I went into my domain provider (godaddy, bluehost, siteground hostinger etc)
    2. go to your website on the list, or just type wp-admin in the search bar
    3. In hostinger: theres a wordpress button there, click on that and security and you’ll see plugins.
    4. simplly delete the performance lab app!
    5. Sites up and running again!! : )
    6. get a backup of your website
    7. download again and try once more.

    Thanks James!

Nice troubleshooting @nikob123, and thanks for sharing your experience. This may be useful for other Hostinger users in particular.

If you’re planning on experimenting with the SQLite module, you may wish to do so from a new site as opposed to an existing one.

Best of luck with your site!

    Hello,

Unfortunately, I also face the same problem. I have downloaded Performance lab plugin for my website neuroscience.az and I checked all the features. Website immediately crashed completely. When I try “wp-content/plugins/performance-lab”, it gives an error message: “403, forbidden. Access to this resource on the server is denied!”

What would you recommend me to do?

Sorry to hear that @elkhan14. If you’d like to open an individual support topic we’d be happy to assist. Note that that if this is related to you selecting an SQLite database, please do try to rename or remove the Performance Lab plugin directory (wp-content/plugins/performance-lab). If you’ve already done so, and you still face a 403 error when logging into your wp-admin panel, feel free to share a recording or more details on this within your support topic.
