Who is the most persistant content spammer and best method to stop it

Anyone else getting constant comment spam from

This morning 359 comments to validate.. 3 legitimates ones (so 356 spams from these loosy assholes….

I’m trying today spam karma.. we’ll see…

Yeah, but I’m getting from online—-poker.com (4 hashes)…

I hold all comments in queue if they have more than 1 link and I added the suggested list to the Options>Discussions>Comment Moderation field.

Just did that though, so we’ll see how it works. Basically it doesn’t really matter though. I still have to moderate the comments so it’s still a major pain to deal with…

I have the same spam here and after install Trencaspammers plugin, works fine !

I installed spam karma yesterday and in 1 1/2 days it’s eaten 90 spams with most being from those horrible poker people that you mentioned.

Nice out of the box experience…

Kitten’s Spaminator has been killing dozens of spam attempts in recent days.

I’ve been having trouble with spam from them ever since the first day of my blog. I just got round it by setting up wordpress so that all posts with the word ‘poker’ have to be moderated.

It’s quick, it’s simple and it seems to have worked.

the only problem with that is you end up with a ton of spam comment in moderation!

I was out for about 30 minutes and have now come back to 15 comment spam postings in moderation.

i’m gonns try kitten’s spaminator.

I just recently switched from Trencaspammers to Authimage by Gudlyf. It seems to be working ok…
