whitespace in checkout page

WP eCommerce version:3.8.14.3Theme: themeforest-unite
When i add items to the cart and try to checkout, there is a big white gap at the top of the page. It is a theme problem as when i use 2012 theme, the whitespace is gone. I have already copied over the plugin’s theme files with no solution to the problem. I have no idea what to do next. Perhaps there is a way I could make it disappear using css?
