• It all began with moving my hosting from 000webhost to 100ws…. And I upgraded to 3.6 in the process. The website was up and the dashboard didnt work so I disabled all plugins and reverted back to the standard 2012 theme. Site was still up but dashboard was still having a lot of problems….

    Before fresh-install Issues
    – Dashboard links were on the right side of the page instead of the left
    – None of the links on the dashboard itself were active, except for the ones which had updates with the circled 1’s next to them. Those I could click on but the sub-menus that came out extended past the side of the screen so I couldnt see those.
    – When uploading pictures, it would say upload failed every time, but when I went down on the dropdown menu I could find them in the ‘images’ or ‘uploaded to site sections’
    – Could not search for any plugins, kept getting an error message
    I think that was all

I tried deactivating all plugins and also reverting back to the 2012 theme and still had the same issues but my site was still up. Now I have followed the manual upgrade steps 3 times and each time I keep getting blank screens and cannot access the dashboard or website whatsoever. Thats where it stands as of right this second.

Any help would be appreciated, been working on this for last 2 days. Thank you.

also, before I started getting the white screen, all of the actual dashboard content which shows how many pages, posts, etc, was down below the dashboard menu which was aligned on the right side. so it was basically a white screen with dashboard menu on the right which didnt work except for the buttons which had upgrades suggested, and then the rest of the backend pages were down below all of that… if that helps at all.

I also tried in both chrome and safari browsers on all of this

Try to take a back up of your wordpress setup with all the files using FTP and databases using phpmyadmin. Then just start from scratch with a fresh install of wordpress 3.6. See if your dashboard works. Then you can import the files and databases later.

I backed up everything, deleted everything including database, fresh install. STILL the dashboard is doing the same thing… in both chrome and safari. I didnt install any plugins or anything. Fresh install, cleared cache and everything.

    Any ideas?
