Whitelisting by hostname

  • This is a feature request:
    Please add whitelisting by hostname.
    My wife locked herself out of her wp-admin by using a wrong username. I have wordfence set to block addresses on the first attempt for bogus usernames. I have dynamic dns configured, so there is a hostname associated with my broadband address that gets updated if the address changes. Being able to whitelist by hostname would be both more convenient and safer.

    Thanks for your suggestion, I confirm this feature is on our feature request list (internal reference number: #1069), although I’m not sure if this can be seen in an upcoming release or not and I don’t have any ETA, but all suggestions are evaluated by our dev team and considered seriously.
