    Hi,

I am using a plugin to import csv lists of products. However, Wordfence systematically blocks the import. Is there any possibility to whitelist URLs starting with specific strings of characters e.g. website.com/import-list/whatever123 ?

    Best,

    Maxime

Hi @maximed, thanks for seeking our help on this.

If you can find the blocked import event on the Live Traffic screen, you can click the button, “WHITELIST PARAM FROM FIREWALL”.

This should do the job, but because this is a legitimate action, you could also show Wordfence that this is normal behaviour for future reference.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the import as you would like to. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and learning mode.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
