Hello @svenms and thanks for reaching out to us!

You can add URLs to the allowlist if you know the Param they will be using by navigating to Wordfence > All Options > Allowlisted URLs. If you’re unsure of the Param, you could find the blocks in your Wordfence > Tools > Live Traffic, click on them, then click “Add Param to Allowlist”.

Another way to do this is via Learning Mode. From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and learning mode.

Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks again!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.
1- The option “Add Param to Allowlist” is not listed, do you know why?
2- What would be the procedure to whitelist everything from one address?
3- Does it work “*” as wild card on whitelist?

    Thank you,

You can add an IP to bypass the firewall if you would like. Navigate to Wordfence > All Options > Advanced Firewall Options > Allowlisted IP addresses that bypass all rules.

The * wildcard currently does not work with our Allowlist, though this has been requested by a few people as a future feature. I will add your request to the list. Our devs review these requests and implement features people request quite often.

    Thanks again for your support!
