• Hello
thanks a lot for your great Tooltipy! It works like a charm! ??
The idea of the blacklist is very useful, but sometimes I’d like some sort of a whitelist.

My problem: in a page I have many times the same words, for example “Galileo”. I know I can set the option to highlight only the first appearance of a word. But I’d like to have for example the first 3 “Galileo” highlighted by Tooltipy, but not the next 10. I can solve this quite easy with formatting the 10 words with HTML tag “strong” and exlude all strong in your options. But this way I have to manually format 10 words.

Otherwise with a whitelist I could format only the 3 desired words, they will be recognized by Tooltipy, but the 10 words left are not highlighted.

Is something like that possible in a way?

Thanks a lot and best wishes
    Daniel

Hi @chappy72 and thank you for your long and clear description

In fact this is not one of the features of Tooltipy but that seemed to me as a useful feature to be discussed and added that’s why I added it in the Github related to the new version of Tooltipy ( https://github.com/lebleut/Tooltipy-OOP/issues/39 )

But for now I believe that this is doable using CSS as a workaround for now

Will test an keep you posted
    Many thanks

    Hi back

Seems not working, was trying to use the :nth-child() CSS pseudo class, no chance
Anyways, you can watch the Github issue mentioned above so you can get informed when it will be implemented

    Thanks

    Hi Jamel

thanks a lot! No problem. Perhaps you’ll find a quite simple way to implement it.

    Best wishes
