Hi, using white text on darker backgrounds appears ok on the designer and browser preview but when a test email is sent, the white text reverts to the global text colors, which are dark.

Closing the designer and opening up the email to edit again shows the text as dark instead of the white that was selected and saved.

Have tried in a fresh browser, same issue.

    Hello there @mjfn689 ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our developers have identified a recent issue between MailPoet and the TinyMCE editor used in the newsletter editor that has caused the “Text color” button to stop working, and are currently working on a fix.

We have no current ETA on when the fix will be available, however hopefully it should be included in one of the next plugin releases (MailPoet updates on a regular weekly schedule). Please keep an eye on the changelog here for updates:

In the meantime, it still works to set colors in either of these ways:

    • Use the Color setting in the “Styles” section of the sidebar to set color for the Text and different Headers
    • Select an individual element in the editor, and hit the “< >” button to edit the HTML directly, then add a “style” attribute directly to change only that element. For example:
    <h1 style="color: blue">My Header</h1>

    <p style="color: red">My Text</p>

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Thank you, will keep an eye out and the direct HTML styling works.
