White text colors are turning gray in block editor. I’ve tried changing the text back and deleting the cache so changes would be visible. However, the text remains gray.

The blocks affected on the example page are in the Bonus CTA section and in the page footer.

This started in the footer after the 6.3 update. The CTA section is more recent.

    Hello there!

I’m sorry to hear that you faced such an issue, but I would like to inform you that I double-checked everything in my local environment and I haven’t noticed any issues with the white color in the “Custom Colors” section of the plugin. And the text color in this website’s footer is actually white. So may I ask you whether you still have this issue or not, please? If yes, let me know where on your website it can be checked, exactly, or how do I reproduce it on my side. Thank you!

Thank you for responding. The problem still exists. White text is still showing up as gray on this particular page in Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

The footer on this page is a block pattern (reusable block).

The text on the sales page is a simple paragraph block.

This problem has occurred in the past when the plugin was not tested with new WP releases. Perhaps when the plugin is updated, the problem will be resolved.

    Hello there!

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

I’m not sure why you still have this text on your website’s footer in grey, but from my side, it’s actually white.

I double-checked this in all my browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave – no issues with that, the text is white. I even asked my colleagues to check it and they also see this text in white. What I did notice is that text thickness differs from browser to browser. In Firefox, for example, the text is thinner than in Chrome, and because of the brown background, the text may look a bit greyish.?But other than that – it’s white and the page source code proves that.

    Hi Eugene,

You are correct. The text reverted back to white.

It is still pretty unnerving that the text color changed and there was no way to correct it. It was a real problem. Plus I don’t know if and when it will decide to change again.
