white-space problem

Hi,

The extra whitespace can also come from:
* Your theme (switch to a default theme temporarily to check)
* Perhaps you added it by accident at the end of your wp-config.php file

But yes, you can also download via FTP directly. Just be aware that if you see other unexpected errors on the UpdraftPlus settings page, that the extra whitespace may be the problem.

There are problems i think:

after three day the backups aren’t finished. i think there is a problem in each site.

Looking at one of the log files above, it looks like the site is not visited much – it goes hours without a visit. That means WordPress doesn’t run, which means that UpdraftPlus can’t run (since it relies on WordPress to invoke it).

By the way – someone fitting your profile, with multiple websites for corporate customers and asking for support fairly frequently, really ought to be helping development by purchasing something – https://updraftplus.com/shop/ … it would be appreciated to help defray the costs of manning this free support forum.

you are in right but now i haven’t a site with updraftplus that works. i would like to propose this tool to my client but they prefer to choose automatic hosting support (they feel more protected). so i would like to use it in particular on: https://www.as-anthropos.it (onlus company).
