I am having issues with white space between blocks on a mobile device.

I am using the column block to organise two horizontal blocks – an IFrame video (html block) and a slideshow plugin.

The two horizontal blocks stack vertically as normal on a mobile device, but with lots of white balance between them and the surrounding blocks.

Is there a way to manage the amount of white space between specific blocks in Gutenberg? Or any ideas what the problem might be?

Hi @narddog. Without seeing the site in question it’s difficult to provide advice here.

You can use the Spacer block to add additional space above/below blocks but I think you want to remove space right?

If you can provide a link to the site or even just copy the blocks directly out of your editor so your setup can be replicated that would help.

    Otherwise, I would try

    – adding a specific class to the blocks in question using the “Advanced” panel in the inspector panel on the far right of the editor.
    – using the Customizer (Appearance -> Customizer) to change the CSS to target that custom class.

Let us know if you can share any additional information.

Hi @narddog. It looks like there’s been no response here so I’m going to close this one out.

I trust you found the solution you were looking for?
