There is white space at the top of the header/nav when the screen gets resized. At a large screen size, it is not there, but when you shrink it to about tablet sized, white space appears and the logo and mobile menu gets all strange.

Elementor Customer support said this is a generate press issue…

Any help on how to resolve this is appreciated!

    Hi there,

I can’t see how this is a GP issue as the header is entirely coming from Elementor:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/tPNmvFlb1R

The first GP element in your site starts here and it’s unrelated to the space:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/nrdjnTQr

Elementor’s support often blames the theme when they can’t determine the issue. Can you ask them to elaborate on why this is a theme issue?

Hi Leo – thanks for responding so quickly to help!

They said, “Upon checking the site, I am able to see the issue on responsive mode which is caused due to the current activated third-party theme GeneratePress. While switching the theme like Twenty Twenty I am not able to find any issue. Please refer to the screencast:

    Any thoughts?

I don’t really have more comments on this – an issue like this cannot be determined by simply activating a Twenty series WP theme unfortunately.

As mentioned above, the first GP element in your site starts at the site content (as the header is removed by Elementor presumably) and it’s unrelated to the space:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/nrdjnTQr

And the issue disappears if I remove the first Elementor content:

I would recommend following up with Elementor’s support team for a better answer – feel free to show them my answer as well.

If they can use browser inspect and find the element from GP that’s causing the issue then I’m happy to take another look ??
