White space

  • Hello I am in need of a quick pointer to assist with closing the white space in the webpage I am working on. I have tried valign etc. I am using Firefox and when I would check the webpage in different browsers such as IE the text wouldn’t be aligned as I would like. Any tip is helpful, and I know how simple it should be but I am a noob at wordpress so please bare with me.     Also on the main page I would need to move the news wrapper to the left and make it the length of the webpage. Once again I am not looking for answers, I am looking for tips, and havent found anything useful yet. Here is the link Thank you.
