“White site”

Hi,
If you able to login dashboard then please try to deactivate all the plugins and theme.
Check the front end- If front end works instead of white screen now activate all plugin and theme one by one.

Done and using other theme it works. When trying to “live view” my theme it goes white again. So it looks like the problem is with the Theme (“Novo”). When I try to upload again, I guess error because “theme already there”.
Could it be corrupted?
Is there a way to force an overwrite?

Thanks, you have taken step to fix.
You already have the same theme on your directory so you can not upload same named theme again.

So what you can do now.

1. Take full backup (files , database)
2. Now login to your control panel and rename the novo theme and upload new one

Also theme might conflict with other plugins or WordPress latest version. So you can also role back your theme also as it was.

Hi Zelal,

Have deleted the theme, downloaded from the authors again (Envato – Novo) and reinstalled. Same issue. Seems the theme is in not-workable condition. Have asked them to either fix or resend me the old zip file I could upload.
Really liked that theme, so seems there is nothing else I can do?

You’re using a commercial theme, so please use their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.
