    Hi

Just upgraded to 3.0.5, which has turned out to be a nightmare. All of a sudden I am no longer able to insert images into posts. The images are uploaded into my wp-content folder but when I press “insert into post” I am stuck with a white screen.
How can you guys release a version without checking that something as simple as inserting images into a post works properly?????
How do I fix this problem?????

FYI my wp-content folder has 755 file permission so this shouldn’t be the problem.
I addition I just tried to upload images on another site which is WordPress 3.0 and here everything worked fine, so I’m pretty sure it’s the 3.0.5 update that’s causing the problems.

    I need help urgently…..this sucks!!!!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi esmi

Thanks a lot for your help….it worked! Turns out the problem was caused by the “simple tag” plugin I had installed.

    Thanks again…it really helped
