White screen when manually run backup job – 2.0

Also adding an issue that ALTERNATE_WP_CRON adds a user visible URL parameter of “?doing_wp_cron=<number>.<number>” how can we get read of this?!

hmmm so you already successfully enable WP alternative cron and the job now works and now you want to remove the ?doing_wp_cron line from URL?

I would first like to understand why I must use this directive, next why is the white page when initiating the backup and eventually how to fix the public URL with the cron

Because your wp-cron.php has a loopback connection issue

why is the white page when initiating the backup and eventually how to fix the public URL with the cron
to avoid using Alternative Cron, you could contact the hoster and ask them to fix the wp-cron.php loopback connection.
