White screen – themes directory is empty or doesn't exist.

    I get the following error message on my site

    “The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist. Please check your installation:

    I have a feeling it has something to do with my index.php file.

    I can still access the Admin dashboard.

    NFGoddess – We ask you make your own topic because:

    1) It’s been 4 months.
    2) The OP actually did solve the problem (see the second post)
    3) WordPress has gone through multiple upgrades
    4) It’s easier for us volunteers to help you if you have your own topic ??

    I know that last one bewhilders people, but since most problems people have are actually very specific to their setup, we get better results (and so do you) when you have your own topic.

    So please. Make your own topic, explain what your problem is, list any steps you’ve taken already to try to fix it, and remember we’re all working to the same goal: Better websites ??
