White screen stuck when I edit some posts

    My problem has been going on for more or less a year. But I’ve been putting it off, I’ve been putting it off, putting it off, putting it off… But I can’t put it off anymore.

    When I edit some posts on my blog, WordPress stays on a white screen. A white screen that I can only get out of by pressing the browser’s back button.

    I found out that it was the PublishPress Blocks plugin by deactivating all of them one by one. The white screen glitch only goes away when I disable the PublishPress Blocks plugin.

    Disabling this plugin could be a partial, temporary and botched solution every time I need to update a “conflicting” post. But it is not a solution because the blocks in this post appear as an error and, if what I want to modify is right inside these erroneous blocks, it is inaccessible to me for modification.

    How can i fix this? Because the truth is that I like the plugin a lot, but every time it raises conflicts in more posts.

    Browsers tested: Chrome on desktop and mobile, Opera desktop, and Brave desktop.

    PHP version: 7.4 (this already happened to me with previous versions).

    Wordpress version: 6.1.1 (same).

    Hi @laguntzaweb

    White screen is not helpful information. I know it disappear when you deactivated PublishPress Blocks. But, have you tried deactivate all plugins except PublishPress Blocks? How is the outcome, does the issue still persists?

    The reason we ask is because we can’t see the issue in our test site even with the same details. That being said, maybe other plugins also take a part of this behaviour.

    Effectively I tried. As I mentioned yesterday, that blocked white screen appears with absolutely all plugins disabled, except PublishPress Blocks.

    Another test that I have done has been to change the theme and try to edit that post, but the WordPress blank error persists.

    Hello. I am not using the Gutenberg plugin, as I use the native Gutenberg that comes with WordPress 6.1.1.

    1. Please deactivate PublishPress Blocks
    2. Edit one of the posts/pages where the issue is happening
    3. Copy the HTML from code editor – see this screenshot
    4. Share the code in a pastebin.com link
    5. In addition, please mention all the plugins installed in your site

    This may help us to reproduce the issue in our end.
