    Hey, @garlof!

I’m not sure if what you’re seeing is related to our plugin, but let’s see if when you deactivate NextGEN Gallery only, will your site pull up in Mozilla Firefox? Give that a try and keep me posted ??

@garlof – Hmm. Usually a white screen means there is a PHP fatal error. You can get the error to show by going to your websites root folder, and finding the wp-config.php file. Find the line that says define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false ); and change false to true.

All that said, if there was a PHP fatal error, you’d be seeing the issue everywhere, not just Firefox. Given it’s just Firefox, it has to be connected to the browser somehow. Probably obvious – but other sites are working in Firefox right? I recall reports of FF showing white screens for all sites.

Assuming it’s just FF, and it’s just this one site, I’m actually not quite sure what to suggest. I’ll ping our team to see if they have thoughts.

I’m actually having this issue on my own site (givememyremote.com). If I try and activate the plug-in in the post (on FireFox), I get a blank screen. The only way to use the gallery is trying to upload the photos via the sidebar option and hoping the gallery coding (with an updated gallery #) works. It only seems to work about half of the time right now. I attempted to deactivate and reactive the plug-in to see if it might work, but it didn’t do the trick. (Apologies, @garlof, not trying to hijack your thread, but wanted to share you aren’t alone here, so maybe it is a bit more widespread.)

Interesting. Thanks @mr2018. It’s useful to know there is a second case.

Either of you willing to share WP and FTP creds for your sites so we can troubleshoot? Two reports is enough to warrant it. If so, you can submit a bug report at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ with site details and creds. Please put “For Erick” in the subject so the team flags it for me.

I hadn’t yet shared this with our team, but will now.

I have had the same issue now for a week. Firefox gives white screen for my site in Firefox only. Inet Explorer, Safari, work but not Firefox. I haven’t done anything major with the site. There was a plugin which suggested updates and I just clicked on the update, not giving much thought. But I tried disabling all plugins and the problem did not go away. I don’t know how to access my site via ftp to check any of those config files. I did install a client software for ftp access but can’t access anything other than the local PC. I could not figure out how to access the remote site. I did create a ftp user id for myself with a password, downloaded the xml file and imported it into the ftp client but after that I got stuck. Am not a computer person, I just write a blog and this kind of stuff drives me insane.
My firefox version is 60.0.2. Firefox was updated during this week but it was after the problems started.

Answering myself to myself: I cleared the cache and the white screen problem is now solved. At least for the time being.

    Hi @imagely,

Yep, it does back to normal when I disable the nexgen gallery.
