White Screen on Install

    I am trying to install WordPress for the first time. Steps so far 1) changed my hosting plan from Winows to Linux/Apache; 2) Moved all existing site which works fine; 3) installed MySQL database and setup at host; 4) downloaded WP3 and updated the config file DB parameters; 5)ftp’s worpress files to /blog directory 6) pointed browser to /blog/wp-admin/install.php. At this point my browser screen goes white and nothing happens. My host is running PHP5 so I don’t think PHP is the issue.

    Any ideas what I’m doiong wrong?
