White screen on Admin pages after update to WP3.9

    Hi,

    I have just updated to WordPress 3.9 and am getting the white screen of death on any admin related pages including the wp-login.php page.

    Pages on the front on the site work fine.

    I have manually disabled all the plugins for the site through PHPMyAdmin

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The white screen of death is *generally* a PHP error.

    Go in to your server and check the log, to see if there’s anything useful there. If you don’t know how, check with your host to see how to get at that log.

    Also make sure you have a theme active! Sometimes when a theme goes corrupt, it will break like that.

    Thanks for the quick response. You were right. It was the theme I was using.

    I changed it through PHPMyAdmin to a built in WP theme and I can access the WP-Admin again.
