I really really fall in love with this plugin! I use it on two sites already and I found all the provided functionality extraordinarily helpful and delibarate.

A litte issue though; why do I get as a result of saving the white screen of death on setting pages and tabs? Both of my installations, one is local, the other remote – and the same thing. Well, options got saved, so hitting the back button and reloading the options page shows that all is fine. But it’s not the best way of workflow ??

Maybe there is a certain Apache mod missing or sth. like that? I can’t figure it out.

Both installs are using PHP 5.3.10/ 5.3.18 with (locally) Apache mod_php or (remote) FastCGI. Hmm …

  • Hiya,

This is probably due to a memory issue with your hosting provider.

First, check what memory your hosting account gives you.

Then, check your error logs (if you have any) to see what error message is given for the white screen.

    Thanks,
    Phil

    Hi,
thank for instant relpy! I forgot to mention: I have 256 MB memory_limit on both machines. Do you think, it is possible to jump from sth. like 40 MB before using events manager to above this value?

So, memory_limit was my first thought, but it seems not propable. Even switchomg on DEBUG mode shows nothing ??

OK – my fault. I had switched on supressing referers. Your plugin probably checks them? So that’s it.

Thanks for giving thoughts on this.

And: your plugin is really amazing!

Seems to be the result of:
    wp_redirect(wp_get_referer());
which redirects to nowhere. Therefore no PHP errors.

I had switched on supressing referers.

out of curiosity, how do you do that?

You install the Firefox extension “Web develpoer” and then click Deactivate => Referers. ??
