white screen of death – only on a few admin pages, including Plugins

I could not access a few sidebar features in Dashboard after some recent plugin updates — example: Soliloquy admin area was a blank white screen — it appears WPSC was one of those recently updated plugins. I’ve had issues in the past with similar anomalies and my first plugin to pull/retest has usually been WPSC. Sure enough — once it was removed, everything snapped back into place for me in the admin area.
1. I went through the manual removal suggestion in “Other Notes” (thinking that something was not being cleared when I Uninstalled the recently Deactivated WPSC plugin).
2. I reinstalled a “clean” version.
3. Same white screen of of death on select other admin sidebar links, including the general Plugins page (so that I couldn’t even Deactivate the WPSC Plugin from the admin! Had to once again do so via sFTP).Checked the error_log, and the only thing listed at that very timeframe was: [warn] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes). Might this be a clue as to what is going wrong, or possibly tie to conflicts with other plugins, etc.?
Thoughts? Please advise… thanks!
