WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH HELP!

    after activating a new theme my site got the white screen on dath I only have FTP access not wp-admin Please help

  • delete the theme that cause the issues using ftp

    wp-content -> themes -> whatever theme

    I did, I renamed the theme folder and plugin fold and none are causeing it

    hi, i have the same problem — installed twentyeleven theme maually via ftp and get blank screen when activated or previewed? i have three other themes installed the same way and they all work fine?

    tried downloading and reinstalling (in case there were corrupt files) but still have same problem?

    any help much appreciated.

    It could be due to the some active plugins or may be your server memory is two low you can test the same configuration you have on your main production server by creating a local server in your home computer.

    How do i find this out? (Sorry I’m a complete novice).

    Did you try and restart your browser and/or clear your cache to make sure that you weren’t just seeing the same dead page from before? Has happened to me that the server is actually linked up and parsing PHP fine … just I’m not able to see it because my browser got hung up ??
