• Hi there
Long story short, very newbie user. The website registrar for the above is no longer contactable, and I don’t even think he is trading as a website builder anymore.
its proving very lengthy even getting him to change name servers etc.
All i have are login details to cpanel. the very basic website building in there is not suitable for us.
I managed to install www.remarpro.com, and have been building a website over what he built for 3 or 4 months.
a few days ago, in trying to get his live pages down off the web (still floating out there) i’ve obviously deleted some very important files.
Now trying to login to WordPress does not work…
and this is the error message that I have at least 300 of:

    [Thu Jan 09 17:44:00 2020] [error] [client 203.59.234.101] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/keke5952/public_html/admin.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php70/usr/share/pear’) in /home/keke5952/public_html/index.php on line 10

I don’t mind rebuilding the website via WordPress, but how do i get back in??
Such a hopeless and confusing situation. I cannot get Filezilla to work on my machine, no MATTER what. i’ve tried everything.
I’ve disabled plugins, to no avail.

    Item Detail
    Hosting Package PersonalcPanel
    Server Name cp85

    MySQL Version 5.5.61-cll
    Architecture x86_64
    Operating System linux
    Shared IP Address 27.121.64.85

    Perl Version 5.10.1
    Kernel Version 2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.15.el6.x86_64

    Browser – Firefox, latest version

I use Windows 7. Is there anything I can do? I just went in and made a basic front page using cpanel, and thats what is currently running. But everytime i try to use CSS to even make a menu bar, it wipes everything.
I cannot use cpanel to build my website, its hopeless.
Anyone that can give it to me straight, if i deleted my php.index or index.php (hopeless) files, can i start rebuilding at some point?
i’ve moved over to siteground, and input my domain info there, and was hoping to start building the new website whilst waiting for the registrar to face the DNS servers in the right direction, but even from siteground i get the white screen when trying to login to wordpress…

    ARGHHHH. At my wits end.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @bernadettekeens – you need to make sure database is still there. In your particular case, wp-config.php is missing which results in a redirect to “wp-admin/setup-config.php”. And above all this, you get the blank screen – other files are missing too.

    You should:

    – Re-install WordPress core files using siteground filemanager or FTP. Ask your hosting provider for instructions.

    – Make sure wp-config.php file is there. If not, you’ll have to create it from the sample version, adding the right database details.

    Good luck!
